On to your answer. I am a MASSIVE fan of Charles Tyrwhitt shirts. Their dress shirts are AWESOME, and I have a few casual shirts that are great as well. If you are a bit larger: stay away from Brooks Brothers. I am athletic, but broad—so I have to order a massive neck size and shorter sleeves. Even in BB’s slim fit shirts—I look like I am swimming. If you don’t have a pretty decent belly but have a big neck—stay away from Brooks Brothers (of which, I own many other products that are awesome). (for comparison—I played Rugby and American Football—I am not a traditional V, but I don’t have a belly—I have a neck, a chest and back—so—stocky dudes—their shirts will be massive and choke your wrists)

Absolutely not, it’s very abusive to deprive somebody of privacy, unless there is a very real and immediate risk that they are committing suicide or otherwise doing something life-threatening or seriously criminal in there. And if there is, they should really be in a psychiatric hospital. This is assuming we’re talking about kids old enough to have a sense of privacy. If by “kids” you mean “infants” then it’s a good idea to be able to have an open door so they know you’re there. Trust me, all of us who care for small children do our best to prevent sick kid drop offs. The problem is not simple though. First of all, we have limits on what we can send kids home for. The CDC and licensing has some specific rules for preschool and daycares. In general illness is based on a few symptoms. Fever over 100 degrees, diahrrea, vomiting. Those symptoms are an immediate go home, with no return until symptoms are gone for 24 hours without medication. So coughs, low grade fevers, nasal discharge, sneezing, etc. do not merit a call to go home.
