The carpet absorbs the LA Laker Nicholson No Joke We’re Back Shirt What’s more,I will buy this noise generated by footsteps. That’s why the aisle, lobby and concession areas are carpeted as well! I strongly believe that the cultural norm of “getting out of the house and seeing a big budget movie in a special facility” isn’t dead. It isn’t dead because like Jonathan Brill and I have been discussing — people like him and me are way too obsessed with going to the movies for all of them to die. But like the death of the North American mall, so too do I believe we are seeing the mass die off of the far-too-numerous theaters. I believe there will be theaters but it’ll be more like Nordstrom rather than Target. Nordstrom caters to people who want an escape, a high end experience who come out once in a while to do something special (or really rich people who have money to burn, but that’s a small segment of their population). Target is everywhere and most people go there frequently enough. Theaters will become small amusement parks to survive — restaurants, games, etc. Sort of like that GameWorks or whatever it used to be called. A city (my norm is to use Cleveland, you do you, boo) like my home town can support perhaps 1–2 Nordstroms (and three suburban Costcos which is also a great analogue too, but is modeled quite differently). A Costco needs something like 150,000–300,000 households. A Nordstrom needs a minimum of two-million households to be considered viable.

Official LA Laker Nicholson No Joke We’re Back Shirt

How do the LA Laker Nicholson No Joke We’re Back Shirt What’s more,I will buy this economics work? Lower budget films will go direct to streaming (as they’re already starting to do). Theaters have a special economic gestalt that is delicate but will require a certain cash flow. Big films will tie into already streaming properties (remember: “product suites” were already predicted to be the norm by now — you buy an ecosystem of products). I submit that you’ll be able to get ticket discounts from theaters and I also submit … Netflix, Amazon, Disney and the others (now that it’s legal) will begin buying theaters. It may be, that you go see your WB film in a Disney owned theater that will sell you drinks and shit in Disney themed cups. It’ll be a special place for “Endgame”, “Infinity War”, “Star Wars: The Forc …” wait, never mind. If they cannot convince you that going to the movies is a worthy event, then theaters are dead. What I suspect we’ll see a LOT more of is technological experimentation inside the theater: VR, kinetic seats, full service, alcohol, recliners, a secure “kids area” (that watches the same movie), immersive (projecting on a 3D screen, ceiling, side-walls) projection, Omnimax, Imax (and its competitors).
