Considering what was done to our South before, during, and after Lincoln’s war of Aggression, I venture to say the South HAS RISEN. The question should be why don’t people defend our Southern Cross, the South, and the loss of our Constitutional freedoms, and bring historical fact to the table and challenge Union half-truths, blatant lies, and the ongoing vulgar revisionism of the left.

Wearing it as clothing and flying the flag from a pickup truck basically means “I will do oral things for tickets to the Luke Bryant concert”. There is no implied racism just a counter culture symbol. As for the South rising again? The first time they raised up didn’t last as long as Trumps career as a politician. People can’t honestly defend it because it is an indefensible symbol of hatred and racism. To those who claim “southern pride” what’s to be proud of? The refusals to accept that “all men are created equal”? The fact of the matter is those who defend the confederate flag are not Americans. That flag was the flag of a foreign country and not of America. I grew up in Pennsylvania and was surprised when I was taught in school that people still believe the “south will rise again”. Fast forward to my last twenty years I have been living in the south and it disgusts me even further to hear it called the “war of state’s rights” by southerners who don’t seem to understand the only “right” the south was fighting for was the ability to continue to keep people as slaves. When confronted a lot of them don’t even know what rights the south was fighting for. For most of them it was taught as a fight against an increasing authoritative federal government. I live not twenty miles from where the KKK was founded and contrary to what most people think not every southerner with confederate flags are racist. They are just ignorant of what it means.
