And they have a lot of other designs if you want something with positive retention or the ability to tuck your shirt in while concealing it.

It can be, had one for years, carry over my right buttcheek now so I don’t muzzle anywhere on my body even when drawing. There are plenty of very small firearms that fit in a pocket, and some (like the NAA Mini revolvers) that could not conceivably be put in a holster*. There is also the fact that if you are concealing your firearm properly nobody would know you have it, let alone whether it was in a holster or not. Edit to add: You’ll have to check local laws to be sure. Back before Texas had Constitutional Carry their laws stipulated that the only two allowable methods of carry for licensed individuals were in a shoulder holster or hip holster.
